Hi, I’m Chelsea — photographer, professional feelings-feeler, and enthusiastic hype human.

You’re probably here to figure out who will be pointing a fancy little box at you during some very big moments. Fair question.

Hi there, I am Chelsea

and I make people look good without making it weird.

A series of four photos showing a figure in a black top and jeans playfully posing against a white wall with vertical blinds.

I'm so happy you've stopped by to get to know me a little bit. My name is Chelsea McGee. I’m a Buffalo-based photographer with a love for deep greens, deep laughs, and telling stories that actually feel like you. Whether you're wildly in love, launching your brand, or just really into documenting your dog—I'm here to turn moments into moody, meaningful art (minus the awkward posing or fake smiles).

At this point you are probably wondering where “Kellio” came from. Well I have two sons, Kellan and Elio. Have any guesses now? I figured since I won’t be changing their names that it's safe to name my business after them. Also I do this for them, so why not let it be named after them.

I'm an enneagram two + an ISFJ-T, which basically means that I am supportive, reliable and I really care about humans. Look, you’re more than a number around here. I love to build connections and I thrive off of people. You’re more than a booking. You’re more than a client. You’re my lifelong friend in the making, and you can expect to be treated that way.

Building relationships allows me to learn your story and tell it in a beautiful, memorable way. I’m here for it all. I am here for the out of the box ones of us; the romantic realists, the introverted extroverts, the I don’t know what to do with my hands, and everyone in between. While I love the traditions and formalities surrounding one’s wedding day, I strive to push beyond these constraints to capture how your wedding feels, rather than how it’s supposed to appear.

For many people, photos serve as tangible memories, capturing moments in time that evoke emotions and tell stories long after the events have passed. They hold the power to transport us back to significant milestones, trivial day-to-day happenings, or even fleeting glimpses of beauty in the world around us. My own love for photography blossomed when I realized its potential to immortalize these experiences. Armed with a camera, I began exploring my surroundings, capturing candid moments and vibrant landscapes. Each click of the shutter deepened my appreciation for the art of storytelling through images, ultimately transforming a simple hobby into a lifelong passion of documenting love in all its forms.

If you’re reading this and thinking “yes, I’d like this person at my wedding or near my brand,” I’d love to hear what you’re dreaming up.

Photography matters because it freezes the things our brains try to blur with time. The way your partner’s shoulders drop when they’re finally next to you. The warmth of a small hand tucked inside yours. The electric joy of a dance floor where no one cares who’s watching.

My goal is simple: create images that feel alive every time you look at them.
